Fort Christmas Historical Park
The local park includes a replica of a fort built in 1837 during the Second Seminole Indian War; a traditional Florida house and eight pioneer homes; a schoolhouse and lunchroom; a sugar cane mill and other historical farming equipment.
The Park has a playground with swings, slide, a fort looking jungle gym, and an area for small children, a basketball court, tennis court and a small baseball field.

Lake Mills Park
Lake Mills Park is a 50-acre park overlooking Lake Mills. It is located on Tropical Avenue north from Lake Mills Road roughly one mile from Chalet Chuluota. The park offers pavilions, a walking path with exercise stations, playground, campground and hosts local recreational activities.
